notes on life at the moment
- I am pretty sure I’m quitting my internship today. In about an hour or two. I can’t do this anymore. So now I’m going to be looking for one again, but I’m good enough to find another one. I have enough experience and I rock interviews (usually).
- Driving lesson today. :) Maybe I’ll also find out when I have my road test. I need to get on that.
- Even though I do not have enough classes left and so would have to overload a lot (three semesters), I am thinking of dropping my Psychology major (and sadly, also my African and African Diaspora Studies minor) and becoming a Communication and English double major. I really love writing (and reading). It’s something that’s kind of recent, but at the same time, I realize I’ve had an online journal or blog since I was in 7th grade (so almost 8 years or so), so it’s not something that’s so new. I’ve had so many because I just like writing about different things and always use writing to get everything out. It makes sense. I just have to figure out how to do it.
- This would make it the third or fourth time I’ve changed my major. I don’t mind, it’s college. I get to change my mind.
- Also, it might make journalism more interesting as a Comm major, but who knows.
- The only reason I’m going to survive the next one or two hours is because of twitter. Sad, but true.
- I can’t wait to hang out with my Obe-City co-star. ;) (I hope you’re enjoying Canada)
- Despite certain things not going exactly perfect, or at all perfect (aka also kind of messed up), I’m really really enjoying my summer and being with my friends and my family. Me and my mom are on really good terms. My sister and I have gotten a lot closer too, which is such a major change from last year. It’s cheesy but it makes me happy. And I realized how much I missed my friends and how much I love them too. They’re going to make my summer. And I’ll miss them so much when I leave for school in Septermber, but they are definitely visiting.
